Just added to the menu is the Oceana American Classic Banana Split featuring three flavors of il laboratorio del gelato. This delightful dessert will be prepared and served only at the Oceana Lounge, a private dining room open only to hotel guests and overseen by world renowned Restaurateur and Hotelier Jonathan Morr of famed Bond Street in New York City.
The Oceana American Classic Banana Split is first prepared using three flavors of the handmade gelato including vanilla, strawberry and dark chocolate, each flavor is paired with a complimentary treat including fresh pineapple and strawberry compote made daily as well as imported 71 percent Valhrona chocolate mixed with cream to create a decadent ganache. For the perfect finish, each split is topped with hand-whipped cream, fresh ground walnuts and a cherry imported from Italy.
In addition, a selection of the gelatos which are created in a laboratory in lower Manhattan and delivered weekly to the hotel, will also be available in flavors such as Vanilla, Dark Chocolate, Strawberry, Espresso, Caramel, Honey Crisp Apple and Mexican Cinnamon, and sorbets in Grapefruit Campari, Concord Grape, Cranberry and Green Apple, just to name a few.
Since undergoing a multi-million dollar complete makeover earlier this year, this intimate luxury hotel has been transformed into a private oasis in which only hotel guests will have access to experience an elevated level of luxury, privacy, service and attention.
