Explore Ancient Art and Culture in Pacific Palisades

Take a step back in time and discover the beautiful Getty Villa Museum. Two to three hours will allow you to leisurely explore the art, architecture and gardens. You won’t feel like you are missing out on the beach as pacific views and ocean breezes can be enjoyed atop this special property. 

 The permanent collection displays Greek, Roman, and Etruscan exhibits. Guests can freely roam the first century recreated Roman country house and ancient styled gardens. The garden boasts a central reflecting pool, colonnade, and ornamental surprises. 

In addition, a new featured exhibition: Nubia: Jewels of Ancient Sudan opened this month and runs until April 3, 2023. The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston has organized a special collection of jewelry, metalworks and sculpture from this ancient society which flourished along the Nile River. It includes stunning works of gold, silver, semi-precious stones and ivory.
